It's Time to Show Your Stripes!

Today is the big day! Together, we are showing our support for the more than 25 million Americans and over 300 million people worldwide who are living with a rare disease.

HOW WILL YOU SUPPORT RARE DISEASE DAY?

We are gathering virtually this year, but there is still so much you can do to raise awareness for rare diseases today.

  1. Share what you're doing for this special day with us on social media by tagging NORD's handles and using #RareDiseaseDay and #ShowYourStripes in your posts.

  2. Attend NORD's free community gathering celebration at 1:30pm ET. The event will feature guest celebrity appearances and performances.

  3. Access NORD's downloadable resources for tips on how to share your story with your local media outlets or online.

  4. Join NORD for a Rare Disease Day tweet chat at 6:30pm ET. Follow our Twitter account or #RDD22Chat to participate in the conversation.
Watch Out for These Colorful Displays

People from across the country have pledged buildings, monuments, and landmarks for our #LightUpForRare campaign. Visit NORD's twitter feed to see which structures have been illuminated in support of Rare Disease Day.

Watch the video below or access the global Rare Disease Day toolkit to see how you can illuminate your home and join the global chain of lights.
